WHAT TO EXPECT
HEAVY BAG TRAINING
(The heart and soul of a Muay Thai school)
This is time where you get to apply and practice your newly learned techniques. While your instructor will always have drills or techniques for the class to focus on, you will also have time to develop in a way that is best for you. Whether you want to work on your speed and power, a specific combination, or just slow things down to refine a single technique, this training time is completely for you.
(You’re tired, you’re sweaty, you feel GREAT! Now it is time for recovery)
We finish each class with group stretch and cool down. This series of movements is designed to slow your heart rate, reduce stiffness and soreness, and improve flexibility. Most importantly, the cool down helps to ensure that you will be ready for your next class.
